Eugenie Bouchard was ready to share this week during her Instagram “Ask Me Anything” session, where she addressed her recovery from shoulder surgery, as well as her favorite ‘Succession’ character.
The 27-year-old Canadian tennis player, who underwent surgery in June, told her Instagram followers that she was “scared beforehand” because she had “never been under anesthesia”.
“But everything went well,” Bouchard explained. “However, when I came to after the operation I was kinda scared and it was very emotional.”
Bouchard tore her sub biceps in March during her first round match at the Guadalajara Open. After trying “every form of conservative treatment and rehabilitation known to man,” Bouchard revealed three months later that she had opted for laparoscopic surgery.
In a separate post, Bouchard told her Instagram followers this week that she also received “good news” regarding the progress of her recovery.
Elsewhere, Bouchard – who is dating Steelers quarterback Mason Rudolph – revealed where she hopes to travel to in the near future.
“Hopefully in Rome in May 2022!” Bouchard responded to a question about the possibility of his return to Italy. “The last time I played for Roma was 2016, can you believe it.”
A question was also asked on everyone’s mind: Who is her favorite character in “The Caliphate”.
Bouchard shared “Greg hahahahaaha” on her Instagram Story, where she posted a series of photos featuring Nicholas Brown’s cousin Greg.
Being a huge fan of the HBO series, she’ll likely be preparing for the third season finale on Sunday.
