India and Pakistan’s men’s cricket teams are in Australia these days, where they are taking part in the ongoing edition of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup. India currently leads Group 2 of the Super 12 stage with two wins in as many matches. The Rohit Sharma-led side opened its campaign against arch-rivals Pakistan in Melbourne on Sunday (October 23), in which they secured a four-wicket win on the last ball of the match. And in their second game on Thursday (October 27), they defeated the Netherlands by 56 runs. On the other hand, Pakistan, after losing to India, suffered another defeat. They lost by 1 run against Zimbabwe in their second match, which was played in Perth on Thursday.

Pakistan is in second-last place in Group 2 after two defeats in two matches, and their chances of reaching the semifinals are now in serious doubt. In order to advance to the knockouts, they not only have to win their remaining three matches by a big margin but also have to get some favours from other teams in the group. There are so many ifs and buts in that, and so it can be assumed that the tournament is all but over for the Men in Green.

For the Men in Blue, in two matches played till date, the pace attack has impressed with its show. The likes of Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Arshdeep Singh, and Mohammed Shami, along with all-rounder Hardik Pandya, have accounted for the dismissals of 13 opposition batters, which is an impressive feat considering that they are without the services of premier pacer Jasprit Bumrah in the showpiece event. Bumrah was ruled out of the competition due to a back injury after initially being named in the squad.
Amid all this superb show by Indian bowlers, a Pakistani fan on Friday tried to troll Bhuvneshwar and Arshdeep by using Haris Rauf’s reference.

He tweeted a picture which shows the fastest, slowest, and average speed of balls bowled by Haris in this year’s T20 World Cup, and compared it with the speed of Bhuvneshwar and Arshdeep by saying that “his slowest ball is equal to buvi and arshadeep’s regular ball.” And in response to his photo tweet, an Indian fan’s savage reply went viral on the internet.

The Indian fan replied by saying, “Yes spot on but Arshdeep and Bhuvi’s regular deliveries will be on screen during the semi finals.”

It was a cheeky dig by the Indian fan as the Rohit Sharma-led side have a better chance to feature in the semifinals of the ongoing megaevent.
