Have You Seen This? Javelina takes off with golfer’s ball

THE BACK NINE — Who among us hasn’t lost a golf ball or two? It’s simply part of the game.

But, it’s a whole new dynamic when the local wildlife decides to crash the party. Check out the action in this video:

As you can see, a family of local javelinas decided to visit the golf course so they could drink from the ponds and enjoy the lush grass. When a golf ball came rolling toward them, one of the animals took a “finders, keepers” approach.

It’s hilarious to see the javelina, sometimes referred to as a skunk pig, take off at full speed with its prize. I’ve never seen a javelina in real life, but I have to say that I’m surprised by how quickly those little legs can carry them.

I guess this is just one of the hazards you face while golfing in Arizona, and you learn to deal with it.
