British tennis star Emma Raducanu, 19, reveals Andy Murray winning the 2013 Wimbledon was her favorite sporting moment. In the 2013 Wimbledon final, Murray ousted Novak Djokovic in straight sets to become the first British male Wimbledon champion in 77 years.

In an appearance for Amazon Prime Video, Raducanu was asked to name her favorite sporting moment. “When Andy Murray won his first Wimbledon,” Raducanu answered during her appearance for Amazon Prime Video. Raducanu would sit down with Murray, Li Na for a coffee Raducanu, the 2021 US Open champion, was also asked to name the athlete with which she would like to have a coffee.

“Probably Andy Murray again. I would say I’d love to talk to Li Na,” Raducanu said.

The admiration is mutual between Raducanu, Murray

After Raducanu expressed an interest to one day play mixed doubles with Murray, the three-time Grand Slam champion said he was open to that.

“Yeah, I’d love to play with her. I love watching her play. I think she’s brilliant. I think she’s going to be amazing for the sport. Not just in the UK, but especially in the UK. Actually, we had spoken last year about potentially playing mixed doubles at Wimbledon, and then both of us ended up doing well in the singles so we ended up not doing it.

But yeah, I would I would love to play with her,” Murray said this summer. Also, when Murray was asked to name the players he would be open to coaching, Raducanu was among the names he mentioned. [Raducanu] and male players would be between [Carlos] Alcaraz, [Stefanos] Tsitsipas and Jack Draper.
